I’ve been a painter most of my life, and that’s not something I say lightly. From early childhood drawings and film experiments to years of formal training and professional work, making art has always been at the center of how I process the world. Over time, it’s grown into more than just a personal outlet—it’s become my profession, my practice, and my way of reaching people. I’m currently represented by several galleries along the Outer Banks of North Carolina, which has given me the opportunity to share my work with a wider audience and stay connected to a community that values creative expression.
The kind of art I make doesn’t aim to represent reality in a literal sense. I’m more interested in building images that offer space for interpretation—forms that suggest meaning without locking it down. My work tends to resonate with people who are drawn to non-representational painting, those who enjoy finding their own path through a piece. If you're curious about abstract art that leans into surreal imagery and layered emotion, you’ll likely find something in my work that speaks to you in a way that’s personal and unexpected.
